It’s not enough to get a project done. It has to be done right. And with capital projects, much can go wrong. But Eichleay controls quality throughout our entire project delivery process, thereby ensuring that projects are completed correctly.
Our highly effective procedures and quality systems are collectively referred to as the Eichleay Quality System (EQS) and are patterned on the ISO quality system. Eichleay quality assurance policies and procedures are documented in our Eichleay Quality System (EQS) which captures our work processes, standards, and quality assurance/control documents. It provides our employees with a clear understanding of the necessary quality procedures. Adherence to the EQS is assessed in various ways, including measuring performance using leading indicators, as well as regular compliance audits. Feedback from employees is gathered through interactive sessions as well as through lessons learned. As an engineering provider, we have a unique opportunity to influence the profitability of our clients and add value by being smart and accurate in our engineering, design, and procurement work. In some cases, we do this automatically as part of our project execution but don’t necessarily recognize it or highlight it to our clients. In other cases, thinking more consciously about ways to add value may breed new ideas that would otherwise not be brought forward.
Eichleay’s Project Delivery work processes are designed to be adaptable. Every project has unique characteristics and desired outcomes. Our front-end loading processes have been developed as a guideline — or starting point — to be custom-tailored to the project based on complexity and client needs. Although flexible, our work processes bring a standard method for execution that allows us the ability to control, predict and achieve the desired outcomes. More complex projects require more rigor and “gates” to ensure the business objectives of the project can be met, less complex projects may not require much rigor although still follow the concepts of this proven delivery process.
Our procedures, processes, and best practices are regularly reviewed and updated to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of our services. Compliance with EQS is achieved through mandatory employee training sessions and random internal audits focused upon conformance to practices, the consistency of their application, and the identification of corrective actions.
As a mid-sized industrial engineering company with large-company capabilities and a small-company culture, Eichleay offers you the most expansive range of services and capabilities for the entire spectrum of project sizes.
